About Us
We are a family run business with a passion for everything creative. Our sole aim in creating our Imaginarium was to offer a place where everyone could experience this for themselves, no matter what their skill level is.
We wanted to create somewhere where you could experience a whole host of creative things to do, not just one. Not everyone is the same or likes the same things so we give you a choice.
We hope we have managed to do just that.
How our Imaginarium works
Whether you are a regular visitor to us, know us through coming to a party, have been to a workshop, or just coming for the first time, your experience will be the same - a very warm welcome awaits you.
From miniature world making to ceramic painting, mask decorating to wooden crafts, Rose-bears to home decor, sea-glass jewellery creations and workshops to seasonal activities and more. There is always something for everyone at The Imaginarium.
There is no time limit on being with us, and no limit on the number of things you can create either. In fact we encourage you to try as many different things as you can, just to see what you like doing.
To start you simply pick what you would like to do, work out your theme and colours, choose your base, and then build from there using items from our all-inclusive buffet and our paid -or buffet - how much you choose will depend on your overall budget. All prices include the use of our work-stations, glues, paints, pens, glitters and more.
Don't forget our famous annual clue-hunts - Halloween is coming and so too are our two Trick or Treat trails.

You certainly seem to have enjoyed creating at our Imaginarium - just look at some of these numbers. We would dearly love to take this idea forward, if you love it on the Isle of Wight just imagine how it could be loved on the mainland and further afield.

Some of our rules, credos, ways of working
dont rush
Creativity should never be rushed, take your time, there is no time limit on how long you stay at your workstation, and no limit on the number of things you create either. We stay until you are finished!
Need help
Our daily activities are self-led, but help is just an ask away, so if you have any questions about anything, best way to do something, or just need help all you have to do is ask one of our members of staff.
Respect
We ask that you respect our staff and everyone else enjoying our creative environment. Those that mess around, cause a nuisance, are rude to anyone or excessively loud will be asked to leave
out of time
Don't worry, we can store your creation for you until you have time to return. There is no charge for storage, or the time you need to complete your creation, we would rather you take time than rush.
caution
What we/you do can be messy, sticky and may involve the use of a hot glue gun or scissors so care is needed. Don't wear your Sunday best when you come, and if you need help with anything just ask.
children
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Sorry but you can't leave your child with us unless agreed in advanced with us, or as part of an organised activity, party or workshop.
dogs
We are a dog friendly location but all dogs no matter how well behaved must be kept on a short leash at all times, please no flexi-leads. Any dog that is aggressive or reactive in any way must be left outside.
ideas
If there is something creative that we are not currently offering that you would like to see us do, then tell us! We are always open to new ideas and suggestions so never be shy in telling us what we are missing.

Opening hours
The Imaginarium is open until the 1st of November 2026. After which we will be closed to the public.
