We are looking for volunteers.
We are currently looking for anyone who would be interested in volunteering at The Imaginarium.
Now is the perfect time to join us during the quieter period to find out whether working with us suits you, and just how it all works.
Auditions for volunteers will be held in the coming weeks.
If you are friendly, creative, have a variety of skills and most importantly, a sense of humour, and a willingness to learn, then you are exactly who we are looking for!
Any volunteers who come to work with us will be considered for possible paid positions in 2025.
Below are the things we are looking for, and what we are offering. You can also pick up a flyer at the checkout, or download one below, it explains more about what we are looking for, and what the benefits of joining us are. It also explains more about what we want from you, and what you will need to be to work with us.
What you need to have:
• Sense of humour.
• Interest in creative pursuits.
• Creative skill – in any form.
• Friendly, approachable and easy going personality.
• Familiarity with creative tools and equipment such as glues, hot glue guns, hand drills, paints etc.
What will you be doing:
• Helping clients with their creations.
• Meeting and greeting clients.
• Prep of creative resources.
• Workstation prep and clear.
• Buffet and menu management.
What are we offering:
• Free creative workstation time – during times when you are not helping out you can use a workstation to create your own masterpiece. Or possibly help out with one of our displays or new creations.
• Snacks and refreshments.
• Honorary Imaginarium Society membership – after a short probationary period.
• Staff discount on any Imaginarium kits, buffet and boxed items – this does not include any artist work.

We are open Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays 10.30am to 4.30pm. Other days can be made available by arrangement.
